Why choose Lutheran Homes Group?

The Lutheran Homes Group (LHG) story began almost 100 years ago. Throughout that time, we have strived to become a leader in the provision of retirement living, home care and residential care services in South Australia, prioritising the well-being of residents and staff.

At Lutheran Homes Group, we are continually excited by the changing environment in which we operate and have made listening to and working with our community a priority. That way, we can successfully anticipate and respond to the wishes and requirements of those who we serve.

A range of living options

We offer a broad selection of Retirement Living options, so you can
find the level of support and lifestyle that’s ideally suited to you.

Independent Living Units

Our units are for people who require little or no support with daily tasks, but who would like to enjoy the benefits and community that come with living in a retirement village.

We offer a range of units, with 2 or 3-bedrooms, across four Adelaide locations.

Assisted Living (serviced) Apartments

These apartments are ideal for people who would like support for certain activities, but don’t need regular care.

Most of our apartments have one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a living room with kitchenette.

Residents receive three meals daily, linen supply and weekly cleaning. Our apartments are situated in Fullarton and offer 24-hour emergency support.

Additional support is available

Whether you live in a unit or an apartment, if you require additional help at home, Lutheran Homes Group can organise this for you.

These services can be paid for privately or through a Government-funded Home Care Package. Find out more about our Home Care services.

Co-located Residential Care

Three of our communities (Fullarton, Glynde and Hope Valley) offer co-located Residential Care.

This allows our retirement living residents to receive priority access to residential care, which means you can continue to be supported to live within your existing community.

These communities also offer short-term respite care if your needs change temporarily.

Retirement Living Coordinator

Each community has a dedicated Retirement Living Coordinator who plays a crucial role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all residents. They are the friendly faces that greet new residents and help them settle into their new homes. Our Retirement Living Coordinators become the go-to people and trusted guides. They are there to answer questions and provide support. With their genuine care and attentiveness, they are known for fostering strong relationships within each community.
